Playing in the snow!

We actually had a great trip on our way to Colorado! We were sad to leave Daddy at home, but it was exciting to finally leave on our Christmas adventure. Both kids were great on the plane! It snowed last night (and is still snowing today!) and we got out early for Bruce's first time playing in the snow! He thought it was fun and very interesting. We came inside when he wanted his mittens off, then stuck his hands in the snow! That was a little too cold for him. Autumn stayed inside with Grammy where it was warm. Maybe next year!

First time walking in snow!

Excited about the snow and watching the garbage truck that was stuck trying to get up the hill

Put 'em to work!

"Could you guys keep the door shut? You're letting the cold in!"

Here's Bruce just figuring out he could kick the snow.

Getting Ready for Christmas

We've unfortunately had a lot of illness in our home for the past week. We are getting it out of our systems for our upcoming trip to Colorado! However, last week we were all well and very busy getting ready for Christmas! Our CBS Childrens' Program had their annual Christmas music program and Bruce was in it! It was his first Christmas program ever! There's a video below, but don't get too excited. I think he had stagefright. Bruce also had a Christmas party and book exchange at "school" and we were in the Weatherford Christmas parade with our MOPS group. It was a chilly day but was great fun! Autumn was there too, but stayed wrapped up in a blanket and out of the wind. Maybe she'll get a chance to perfect her parade wave next year.

Huge smile!
Autumn's very smiley now - it's so much fun!

He just wants to do whatever Daddy is doing

Chloe figured out that Bruce isn't the only cuddly kid to snuggle up with

Our award-winning float for the Christmas parade (or we should have won if we didn't. I actually haven't found out yet!)

Bruce had a great time riding on the float. We were waving and yelling "merry Christmas". Now if you ask him to say "Merry Christmas" he just waves. Definitely destined for fame! :)

View from the float - you can see the old courthouse in the distance.

Texan chihuahua surviving the cold

Before the Christmas program began - maybe he has butterflies in his tummy.

Okay, so at least he rang his jingle bells a bit!

Our next post will be from sunny (and hopefully snowy) Colorado! Merry Christmas, everyone!

Just some pictures - we're as busy as everyone else!

Good thing someone's paying the bills...

Autumn's now able to hold her head up and smile (the purposeful type of smile, not those newborn sleepy ones - although we love those just as much - don't get me wrong)! We don't have a picture of her smiling because they never do that when you have the camera. Still working on that...

Yeah, I'd be all smiley myself if my day's events consisted of eating cheerios, dancing, playing, taking naps, playing at the park, stickers, bubbles, etc., etc.

Ostrich impression? We don't have any other answer for this strange behavior.

These two are becoming the best of friends. Awwww...
